Ken Mahattanadul
Hello! I'm Ken, a CS master's student at Brown's Database group and Atlas doing research on databases, systems, and AI with Prof. Ugur Cetintemel and Prof. Nikos Vasilakis. I did my undergrad at UMich where I worked on a year-long big data project with Union Pacific Railroad advised by Prof. William Arthur under the MDP program, where I then went on to work full time.
Outside of work and school, I'm always available for a tennis match or a quick band jam session. I'm also broadly interested in general socio-economic-political issues, and in my previous life I was heavily involved in Thailand's debate community.

- May 2025 Left Union Pacific to take a break before starting my CS master's at Brown.

- May 2021 Started my software engineering summer internship at Agoda.
- Sep 2019 Kicked off my CS undergrad at UMich with EECS183.
